This is a sturdy channel track drapery rod that has a built-in track to accommodate our channel track carriers, which allow drapes to glide effortlessly. Our channel track drapery hardware is a sleek and contemporary option for your drapery installation. It has improved functionality over traditional hardware with the ease of a track system and added support for wide windows or heavier window treatments.
Please note: 8 foot rods cannot be shipped due to postal service equipment sorting limitations unless they are cut in half. If you choose to ship this rod and cannot arrange to pick up you will receive this rod in two 4 foot pieces with a centre splice provided.
We recommend purchasing four brackets to support an 8 foot rod. You cannot install a wall or ceiling bracket on the portion of the channel track rod where a splice is being used. The carriers will glide over the splice smoothly, but you may feel and hear a click as it runs over the joint.
To customers whose postal codes are eligible for free shipping, there will be a $10 oversize surcharge applicable to all rod packages.
End lock bolts (included): These bolts ensure your drapery panels stay in place at either end of the rod as you open and close the drapes, effectively keeping the final channel track carrier stationary on each end of the rod. Install each end lock bolt one-in from the final channel track carrier, with the final carrier positioned between the bolt and the end cap finial.
